Pelican case - Measure twice and order once??

Pelican makes a fantastic product and it's what keeps the LG110 safe from the rigors of transport. I'm in the market for another case for a new ft rig and Pelican was high on the list . Took a quick measurement of the rifle and went shopping for the case.. I was pretty sure then that 42.5" was the number pulled so I went ahead and order the iM3200 which has a 44" interior .. It turns out I made a mistake and the rifle is 44.5".. Now I'm waiting on the new case a Pelican 1750 with a 50.5" interior..
Measure twice and order once ..

Just cut a bit off the end of the barrel till it fits.

I'm not going to mess with a good thing..
Easier to order a new case from the good folks at Production Case Company ..

Still have to cut out the foam, but this is a much better fit for this shooter..
