QB vs. Steyr

Post by FTguy » Sun Dec 23, 2012 10:42 am

Here's a unique picture of a heavily modified QB parked next to a Steyr taken during the break at one of the Range Burlington matches .. Not an unusual scene if you're a regular FT shooter in Southern Ontario .. Bring out your guns and have a blast, it's all good...

I'm glad you posted this. I'm considering getting involved with FT and the guns I have shoot too hot. So I was considering starting with a qb79 with an LW barrel, a regulated hpa tank and a Ft stock which I plan to make.
But was feeling bashful about a qb when I see all the pics of of such amazing rifles. Glad to see others using them.

The whole idea is to get out to these matches and have loads of fun.. Great folks getting together and having a blast with their airguns is definitely a fantastic way to spend a day..
Love my QB's.. That one is in need of a reseal and when that gets done, it'll be back in action.. ;)

I made the stock you see in those pics out of laminate ply.. Here's a short vid QB79 stock from scratch to range

Cheers!
