That's a sexy beast for sure. I love it.

I would love to see more interest in sub-500fps springer matches - I think there is possibilites in this direction for older guns.

I'm certainly with Len when it comes to these older springers, especially the FWB300S. That rig of Lens was just drilling the centres out of the targets. These old guns just feel like quality when shot.

I used my 300 that Len tuned for me in the Fudd hunter match and the weak link was definitely me. I had not figured out all distances for aim points with the mil-dots and that hurt me early in the match. Figuring it out as I went along, once I started aiming in the right place, the targets fell. I only lost two of the 48 points available for the last six lanes. I was impressed by the accuracy and feel of the gun that was shooting the 7.9 JSBs at about 8.9 ft/lb or 714 fps. As Len suggested, I may try this gun again in the WFTF piston class; I just have to work on the weak link.
