For long range planning purposes, I want to make sure everyone knows the date of the Nationals. Over the last few years, the match has been held on the fourth weekend in July. This coming year is an exception, with the match being held on the third weekend in July.

The match will be held on Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th, 2014.

Location will be the Port Colborne Field Target Club located at the following coordinates that you may copy and paste into Google Maps

42.910318,-79.157656

It's definitely NOT a 5 hour drive from Richmond Hill to Port Colborne.. depending on what speed you drive at, plan for 2.5 hours - I'm at the east end of Toronto and it takes me less than 2 hours, but I tend travel around 120ish on the highway.

As for places to stay, Tim typically sets up a discounted rate at one of the local motels, in the past it's been at www.portmotel.ca - some of us also camp out at the club - no showers, but there is a club house with hot water and a full kitchen. Also a BBQ and a camp fire at night - it's a tonne of fun.

What will be the shooting order:
1 per target, 2 per target?
If 2 per target, consecutive or alternating between targets?
Near to far or left to right?
Thanks

We have always shot 2 per target consecutively, nearest to farthest. Typically have 3 targets per lane.

For those that have committed to attend the match and for those thinking about it, we have good news again this year. Air Gun Source/Travis will be at the club Sunday to set up a display of items for sale. If you are anything like me, you may want to bring some extra cash to purchase some air gun goodies.

If you are in the area and want to drop in just to check out Travis' display, feel free to do so on Sunday. You will also to be able to see, firsthand, what FT is all about.

If there are specific items you want Travis to bring, be sure to drop him a line by email or phone a few weeks before the match and let him know.

Another great addition to the whole Nationals experience. Thanks Air Gun Source
