2015 Season opener -Pics added-

Post by Mac » Fri May 15, 2015 1:06 pm

In just over two weeks the 2015 outdoor season will start at Port. The match is on May 30, 2015 and will be a full 60 shot rifle match on either 10 or 15 lanes. I will be opening the gates at 8:00 AM to get things set up and the sight-in range should be available by 9:30 AM. The shooter's meeting will be at 10:45 and the match will start at 11:00 AM. The sight-in range will be shut down at 10:45, so be sure to get there early enough if you want some sight-in time.

The Conservation Club has increased our fee to use the club, but the match fee remains the same, at $20 for adults and $10 for those 16 years old or younger.

All classes will be offered, but at least two shooters are needed in a CAFTA class in order to have an award.

Open Division: PCP and Piston classes (20 ft/lb max)
Hunter Division: PCP and Piston (20 ft/lb max)
WFTF Division: PCP and Piston classes (12 ft/lb max)
Junior Hunter Class if we have some juniors (20 ft/lb max)

Please let me know as soon as you can, or at the latest, the Wednesday morning before the match, if you will be attending. Please include what division and class you will be shooting in.

See you at the Port Club.

Up to 21 so far. Long range forecast saying 23 degrees, 30 km wind and "light" rain, but was much worse a few days ago. Forecast improves every time I check it. Nicer weather before and after Saturday; go figure.

Eric is also coming with me from Rochester. He'll be shooting HFT Piston. We'd like to be paired together, thanks Tim.
