Creedmoor Shooting Jackets?

Post by dHb » Wed Aug 21, 2013 6:44 pm

I'm temping to get one of these coats http://www.creedmoorsports.com/shop/Cre ... acket.html and was wondering about the fleece collars. Any thoughts suggestions on getting the optional collar or not?
Thanks

I got the fleece collar and really like it. I imagine the canvas would be somewhat rough on the neck, especially if you are hot and sweating. Most summer matches are quite warm.

Is that a jacket like the one Bill has?

Not sure if Bill has the deluxe coat. Mine is the basic with the collar and sling hook added. I did not want any padding in the body of my jacket. Tom, George and I all have the same jacket.

My coat arrived today. Very good value for the money. I'm pleased...

Just wait until you spend some time sitting and shooting in it - I found my jacket made a HUGE difference to the stability of my sight picture.
