Not a good string for target resetting

Post by dHb » Mon Oct 15, 2012 8:19 pm

I was ordering some stuff from Amazon and saw in the kite flying section that you could buy 300' of 50-lb. Twisted Dacron on a LaserHandle for $5. I figured it was worth a shot for FT use. There's way too much stretch in the line. The first time we used this for 10-20 yard targets one competitor complained that it was like pulling on a string of bubble gum. The handle would be fine for winding up shorter lengths of line. I'll switch for 200-lb Dacron and that should do the trick.

Best stuff out there. Easy to see and does not stretch
